Synopsis"The Mouse That Roared" is a play adapted by
Christopher Seigel from a book written by Leonard Wibberley. In the story, a
very small country called Grand Fenwick, is going bankrupt and needs to find a
way to get money. The economy of Grand Fenwick is destroyed when a Californian
company makes a cheap knock-off of their wine. They try protesting the
Californian company, but that doesn't work. They decide to declare war on the
United States, because they know that there is no chance they could win. They
also know that when they loose, United States would help them rebuild. Somehow,
Grand Fenwick defeats the United States. Now the question arises, what does a
small, bankrupt country do when it conquers the United States?
